Our first baby turned 3 today! I can't believe it! We woke him up with cake and presents- he was very excited! We had a pool party too, and when I asked Cade about his favorite part of the day, he said it was the treasure hunt we went on at the party. Cade is so much fun right now- he's got such a big heart and an amazing amount of energy! He is very passionate about things, and he always lets you know what he wants! It doesn't take him long to melt your heart, just a look and he'll say, "Mom/Dad, do you know how much I love you?"- even if it is a ploy to stay up just a bit later, it still gets us everytime. Happy Birthday, Buddy- we love you!

I am so sorry that I didn't get Cade called today!! I was thinking his birthday was July 26th!! I feel so bad!! I was just sealing up his birthday card and thought I would check your blog to see any updated pictures and I was surprised to see the birthday photo!! The party was AWESOME. Mandy, I don't know how you do it. You have cute kids, always look awesome, pregnant, throw a perfect party, and you are the nicest person in the world. Thanks for everything. I will miss your smiling face. You are a wonderful person!
I'm SO bummed we missed Cade's bday! Hunter talks about him all the time. We miss you guys SO much! We just got back from the cabin. My cell got soaked on the boat so I've been calling from James's phone. Call me when you can. I might be coming in a couple of weeks. :)
So sad that we missed the party! Glad to hear that Cade and the kids had a great time! We just love Cade in nursery! He's such a cute kid!
